I have taken about a zillion pictures, and spent my day driving the Escape around town, spreading the word and asking people to help me #tweet4ford via Twitter!  It was a very exciting day and everyone who approached me about the car had many positive things to say.

I placed a little sign in the back window of my Escape telling people to “Tweet for Ford to show their love” with the hashtag #tweet4ford and my Twitter name @bloggychic.  When I pulled into my local pharmacy, a man who I later found out was driving behind me on the road, approached me and asked me to give him an overview.  I gladly obliged then asked if he was interested in purchasing one himself, to which he replied “I actually own one, a slightly older model, and you have convinced me to trade in for the 2013!” Imagine that!

Throughout the day I received many comments and compliments on the Escape:

“That car is SEXY!”- which came from a big, burly friend of mine.

“Is this a new luxury vehicle line?”-from a woman at the grocery store who was pleased when I told her it was a Ford Escape.

“I love the color! You don’t see creative colors like this!”-from another woman at the grocery store who was commenting on the “Ginger Ale” color of my Escape.

“This is a really nice car, wow!”- from my car mechanic whom I gladly took for a test ride around town.

“This thing is awesome!”-from my husband who is a very harsh car critic.

“WOW.OMG.NEAT!”-from my 7 year old son who “didn’t know we were getting an awesome new ride!”

“Wow, I didn’t know Ford made upscale looking cars like this”-from a gentleman in the bank parking lot who saw my sign in the back and was curious.

“Are you famous? You should be! Love the car! I want one!”-from this super cute older gentleman who walked past the car when I was sitting at a red light.

“The other car companies should be worried, this is the nicest looking vehicle I have seen in awhile.”-from a lovely lady at the pharmacy.

“Whoa! Love the new body style!”-from one of my customers at work.

The list of positive comments and praise could go on and on, but you get the point. Tomorrow will bring new adventures as I continue to learn how to operate my Escape, and I cannot wait to highlight the all new hands free liftgate for you!

Thank you for joining me in my 2013 Ford Escape Adventures! Please don’t forget to come back and read tomorrow’s adventures and follow me while I blog and Tweet daily!

Ha, love what your kiddo said. It really is so nice to see an average everyday person promoting and supporting an American company the way you are. I think it helps consumers feel better, to be honest. I would rather take the advice or recommendation of an every day person over a commercial or other advertisement about a product. WTG Ford for giving you this opportunity!

Reianne, what a great mindset you have! I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that consumers are seeking more advice from every day people. Since I received the car, I have been inundated with questions, inquiries, comments and a lot of positive feedback. I think a lot of people are more apt to listen to real life experiences and embrace them as the truth. Ford definitely knows what they are doing. I feel not only privileged for this opportunity, but also comforted in knowing that a large car manufacturer like Ford is utilizing the voices of every day people. I find that very important.
